Idle RPGs in France: A Q4 2020 Performance Overview

As we look back at the fourth quarter of 2020, the Idle RPG category has seen interesting trends in user engagement and financial performance in France. Sensor Tower provides a detailed look at how the top five applications in this genre fared during this period.

Hero Wars: Alliance experienced a downward trend in downloads from 16K in late September to 6K by the end of December. Weekly active users also declined from 55K to 45K, while revenue showed fluctuations, peaking at $213K in late November before settling at $130K at year's end.

Zombieland: AFK Survival saw a significant drop in downloads, from 5K to just over 1K, and a decrease in weekly active users from 5.6K to 3.9K. The revenue for this game showed minor fluctuations, ending the quarter at $568.

Battle Night demonstrated a mixed performance with a decrease in downloads from 4K to 2.1K, while revenue saw a general increase, reaching $8.7K in the third week of December. Weekly active users peaked at 8.8K in late October but dropped to 6.8K by the quarter's end.

Crush Them All - Idle RPG showed an overall decline in both downloads, from 3K to 1.2K, and weekly active users, from 13K to 9.8K. However, revenue saw a rise in early November, reaching $11.9K, before slightly declining to $8K in the final week of December.

Idle RPG - The Game is Bugged!, despite its name, showed a robust start in October with downloads peaking at 4K. However, by December, downloads had fallen to under 700. The weekly active users followed a similar trend, with a high of 4.5K in late October decreasing to 1.3K by the end of December. Revenue peaked at $3.3K in early November but dropped to $593 in the final week.
